Mark your calendar, hand, grocery receipt or whatever you've got laying around you right now for the first ever Well Fed Head Poetry SlamOff. We are planning on holding this event over two back-to-back days in early June:

Day 1) The Poetry SlamOff Semi-Final will be held at the Moxie Cinema on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 PM. We're cooking up some other fun stuff with the Moxie for this night to help kick off our team selection. Don't miss it. (Tickets are $10.00 which includes a Free Bounce Back Pass for Thursday night at the Outland)

Day 2) The Poetry SlamOff Finals will be held at The Outland on Thursday, June 7th at 7:00 PM. You won't want to miss the final evening as our judges pick the four poets who will represent Team Springfield in Austin. (Cover is $3.00 or Free with Bounce Back Pass)

Poets, if you have participated in any Well Fed Head Poetry Slam between April 2006 and April 2007 you are eligible to compete in this SlamOff event. You are the poets who made this happen and you are the poets who should represent our city.
